Recall Information For Bugaboo Bee Strollers
Bugaboo has recalled Bugaboo Bee strollers because the company has received reports of brake failures on Bugaboo Bee strollers. No injuries have been reported, but the brake failure may cause the Bugaboo Bee stroller to roll away from the pusher.
Is My Bugaboo Bee Affected?
The recalled strollers have item code 580210 on a label on the back of the seat and item code 50100 on a label on the plastic support under the seat. The strollers were sold in blue, dark khaki, pink, red, yellow, and black. “bugaboo® bee” is printed on the left side of the seat.
As of April 27, 2009, all Bugaboo Bee strollers shipped from the Bugaboo warehouse have been re-fitted with brackets that correct the problem. All Bugaboo strollers shipped from BugabooStrollers.com were retrofitted as of 12 PM on May 8, 2009.
