Bugaboo Wheeled Board - Good for Short Treks

Reviewer: Anonymous , Kansas City, MO Date: July 25, 2008
The Bugaboo Wheeled Board is perfect for a theme park or other venue where you're going to be getting the kids in and out of strollers often. Our almost 3 year old can stand comfortably, but he doesn't want to ride on it for more than a few minutes. The big downside is that at 5'3", I have to literally stand to the side to push when using the board since it puts way to much room between me and the handlebars. It's not much easier for my tall husband who has to awkwardly maneuver himself around it.

Bugaboo Wheeled Board - Toddlers love it!

Reviewer: Kim , Chicago, IL Date: July 24, 2008
I bought the Bugaboo Wheeled Board to use with my 2 year old and my newborn. I love my Bugaboo stroller and would have enjoyed buying a Bugaboo double stroller, if they made them. This is a great alternative. I did not expect my two year old to have the patience or interest in riding the wheeled board, but he loves it! We receive tons of inquiries from other mommys as to where we got it and how they can get one for their stroller. It is easy to assemble (takes about 5 minutes), comes off easily (if you are only taking along one child), and is very sturdy. I would recommend this to everyone.

I generally like the board. I do wish there were an easier way to attach though. I find it hard to secure it in place, I always end up breaking nails trying to get it on there.

Quite good

Have used this with 2 of our children and they love it. Wide enough to sit or stand on and easy to hold on. It is a pain when you come to fold up the stroller however, as it frequently drops off. This can also happen when going up or down a curb. Everyone stops me and asks where I got it from - but then, they do that about the stroller anyway!

Bugaboo Surfboard!

We love this board. I've been using it for over a year with my two kids. It's large enough that my son can even sit down on it cross-legged while holding on to the stroller frame still. It's great for an extra rest if he's tired of standing. With this setup, we can zip around the city easily and everyone is comfy. Works great for us.

been using it since our oldest daughter was 18 months, she even sat on it when too tired to walk, though her holding on took some figuring out in the beginning. Never had any problems with board sticking out too far or major difficulties to push the stroller with board attached. it is an easy stroller to push around, even with an extra kid and a dog . Did take some adjustment to how to handle all the small parts when traveling home to Europe, as we didn't want to leave the board on the stroller when boarding, afraid it might got damaged. Cannot wait to give the coming Bee a try though!!

Love the Wheeled Board

Reviewer: Anonymous , Philadelphia, PA Date: January 16, 2007
We started using the wheeled board when my older daughter was two. We love it! It has been great for zipping around with two kids and not having to take a big bulky double stroller. I get stopped constantly asking about it from other moms. Living in the city, it is a godsend to have this board so that you can fit through all the stores easily. Additionally, the best thing I find is that it is larger than most wheeled boards which provides for a larger area for my daughter to stand on and makes it less likely that she will slip off and yet when attached it does not stick out any farther than the handle bar. It makes getting around with 2 little ones very easy.

wheeled board

The wheeled board is hard to use and in the way. You have to raise the handle up too high to hold on to and you have to walk too far back because the board sticks out so far. My 3 year old hates hitting her head on the bar when riding on the board. It's just not as good as the buggy!

Comments from the Staff: Granted, you're the first reviewer on this product, but we haven't received any previous complaints. We certainly appreciate your feedback. The Bugaboo Wheeled Board is a bit lengthier than other ?buggy boards? on the market, but the larger base for the toddler provides more room to stand, and therefore more stability. The size may be inconvenient for the user and rider, but alas, this is the only option that Bugaboo offers for multi-child families. No double just yet, but we're waiting!
