Our Review of the Bugaboo Sunshade - Gecko
The Bugaboo Gecko Sun Shade is the best possible means of protecting your Bugaboo Gecko's passenger from harmful UV rays while keeping them cool and comfortable. Designed to attach to either the standard Bugaboo Gecko canopy, or the specially designed, ventilated Bugaboo Gecko Breezy Sun Canopy, the Sun Shade covers your Bugaboo Gecko's entire seat for total protection from insects and the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays.
The fine polyester mesh fabric used in the Bugaboo Gecko Sun Shade is treated with a special coating of UV reflective material the blocks 65% of UV rays. Used in conjunction with the Bugaboo Gecko Breezy Sun Canopy, your child will have not only have a fully ventilated cover for their Bugaboo stroller, but sun protection that meets the strictest standard on the planet: Australian Standard SPF 50+.
Owners of a Bugaboo Frog can also purchase a Sun Shade that attaches to the standard canopy, and Bugaboo Cameleon owners can get both the sun cover and the Bugaboo Cameleon Breezy Sun Canopy for extra ventilation.
